I am truly grateful for everything he has done for the Red Sox, but he cannot help the Sox win anymore and I hope this season is his last.
I like Daisuke Matsuzaka. Look, he isn't worth the money the Red Sox paid him by any stretch. I just think he's a lot better than people think. Sure he's infuriating to watch at times since he goes through so many pitches and puts so many runners on. That's how he works. More than anything, however, I think he's severely victimized by the strike zone and its massive inconsistency. Of course, this is merely opinion.

I get that he’s a great player and everything, but sometimes I just don’t get the hype surrounding him. I respect the way he plays and whatnot, but, otherwise, I just don’t get the appeal.
